Why does a CV matter ðŸ“?

A CV is your USP to potential employers if your unaware what USP stands for it means Unique Selling Point ☝️ – simply put a CV is there to sell you as a potential and good match employee to the employer.

An employer has around 6 seconds to make a decision on if the CV goes into a “Call for interview” and “Declined” Pile you really want to be getting an interview off the back of your CV right ? Of course you do.

As your potential employer probably has 100s of CVs to skim through you need to literally grab their attention from the offset, your CV needs to be bold, not to cluttered, neat, professional and have a flow to it (good layouts and clear and consise) ✏️ 

Your CV is basically you, your skills and expertise on paper because the employer hasn’t met you yet, you really do need to shine ⭐️ and big yourself up and boast about your key skills and abilities, prove to the company that you are competent to perform the role advertised and let them see why you are their perfect choice to fill the position. 

Because a CV is such a big element between getting hired and not you need to make your CV perfect for all to read 👌 

What’s a CV? 

  • A CV is a personal document to the owner of the information and is your  lifeline between securing or not securing an interview. CV stands for Curriculum Vitae – Meaning the course of life in Latin, it’s a summary of your Education, Career and skillset history. A CV is used to filter out applicants that purely don’t have the correct skills and experience, job offers are made based on CV content and the accuracy of them. 

So there we have it a CV plays a vital role in the job market game, that’s why your CV needs to be all singing 🎤 all dancing 💃🏻 to get it noticed from the word go..!
